Longtime Free drug program spreading to mainstream employers

It seems we have price wars going on between major retailers right now. You never know when another DEAL will come along. Could price wars between the drug companies themselves be far behind?

Longtime Free drug program spreading to mainstream employers

10 years ago probably the oldest free drug program was started in Ashville, N.C for diabetes drugs for city workers. It has since spread to free drugs for depression, asthma, cholesterol problems, & blood pressure. Patients must agree to learn the need to take their medicine and adopt healthy lifestyles.

Now this method of health care has spread to more than 30 employers, some quite large. While other companies scale back the amounts they will pay for drugs, these employers now give away drugs for these conditions. They include the carpet maker Mohawk Industries Marriott International, Maine
