Spending 2 minutes to post there beats trying to memorize and learn how to integrate the ideas from the 36 Subjects and 300+ topics on the site into a game plan to take to the doctor.
The people responding will tell you where the info they give comes from and why it works. Usually there will be a summary post with various reasonable methods listed. Then, if you want to research on your own, it makes it much easier if you have a head start from a group of people. You do not have to disclose ANYTHING that will identify who you are.
