THE EASY WAY: Give us your list of drugs then we will give your specific ways to save
This is the "cry for help" forum. Provide as much info as you feel comfortable (we do not need your name, address, ID numbers, etc.) and someone will answer within hours hopefully (maximum time 1 day). If you do not wish to disclose any information in a public post you can register using an anonymous email address and then send a private message to dlcnurse, NoPocketCash, or jimithy.
THE SPECIFIC IDEAS PRESENTED SHOULD NOT BE FOLLOWED BLINDLY. YOU SHOULD MAKE YOUR OWN CHOICES AS FAR AS TREATMENTS, PHARMACIES, MEDICATIONS, ETC. ANY SPECIFIC EXAMPLE GIVEN IS JUST THAT... AN EXAMPLE TO SHOW WE ARE GIVING "REAL WORLD" COSTS AND IDEAS.

Quick Answers To Specific Questions
If you just need an easy way to get a very specific question answered, then this is the place for you. If you ask a general question then the answer will probably not be of much help. If your question gives us all the details (except those that might identify you) then we can be very detailed in our answers.

Special (possibly time limited) Ways To Save & NEWS!
You never know when a DEAL might come along. It seems we have price wars going on between major retailers right now. Could price wars between the drug companies themselves be far behind? What will happen with the new Congress?

FYI: Info That Saves Lives, Improves Lives, & Reduces Costs
It does not matter if you save money if you let the lack of a little information... take your life or make your life miserable. Often a little knowledge or prevention will reduce your costs too.

Healthy People Need Fewer Drugs
It may seem a bit obvious, but we are being trained that instead of living healthier... we should ask a doctor for a drug.
Unfortunately the saying "pop a pill and cure your ills" is believed by most people. Studies have proven though that many disorders respond much better to living healthy than they do with ANY drug.

Talk With Your Doctor
A large percentage of every dollar spent for medications is used by pharmaceutical companies to pay for the numerous days of continuing education required of each doctor every year. Doctors are pummeled with information about the newest drugs, not necessarily the best drugs for your specific needs and income.

Easy way to identify stroke victim
It only takes a minute to read this...
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke... totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

Getting Rid of Excess or Expired Medications
Many people have left-over drugs. Disposing of medications is not always as simple as it seems. Drugs improperly disposed of can pollute the environment and even kill kids or pets rummaging through the trash. Various places have different laws and procedures set up to handle disposing of excess drugs. In the U.S. there are some legal ways of reusing various excess unexpired medications. Certain medications, such as those to treat AIDS and its opportunistic infections, can be collected by specific organizations for distribution overseas into poverty stricken areas. It is not legal in the U.S. to give your excess drugs to other people even if they have a great need for it.
